Hi! Thanks for stopping by!

We are a newsletter committed to providing small doses of positivity straight to your inbox - sent every Monday to a growing audience of over 2,000 engaged, inquisitive readers.

There’s a lot of bad news out there. And a lot of poorly written, ad-infested websites using cheap tactics designed for nothing more than to generate clicks.

At The Sunny Side we scour news from across the world and select one story each week that we hope will brighten your day. Essentially, our aim is to provide articles or stories from a wide range of sources that are either funny, heart-warming, interesting or informative.

No click-bait. No infuriating pop-ups.

Hand-picked positivity in a 5 minute read!

The Future…

Our plan is simple: to share and spread as much positivity to as many people in as many places as possible.

But we're only small... for now.

As we continue to grow, our immediate and ongoing goal is to expand the newsletter and increase its quality. The move to our new email provider (the far more powerful beehiiv) was the first step on this journey, allowing us more customisation options and far greater control over the direction of the newsletter. It also allows us to easily archive all of our issues – providing a nice, easily browsable home for all of our articles.

In the medium to long term we would like to deliver the newsletter more regularly (2 or 3 times a week, depending on reader feedback), begin collaborating with likeminded partners and charities, update our branding, and include more interactive, reader-focused features in our newsletter.

Ultimately, our end goal is to create and maintain a bespoke online community and an outlet for positive content and mental health resources.

To do this, yes, we’ll need some help.

Unfortunately, all of this costs money. You’ll find links for donations and memberships on this page and in our newsletter. Donations - no matter how big or how small - are all hugely appreciated and are never taken for granted. And every penny is reinvested into our running costs or towards the future expansion of The Sunny Side (indeed, even our move to beehiiv wouldn’t have been possible without it).

Of course, we understand not everyone is in a position to help us financially. But sharing the newsletter and telling your friends and family about us is just as important. The more people we can reach, the more we can grow, the more feedback we can gather and the more we can improve.

We want to be a hub of positivity online, and the more people who are involved the better it will be.

The Sunny Side only exists thanks to the support of our amazing community, without whom we simply wouldn't be able to do what we do.

Your support on this journey is hugely appreciated.

Thank you.
