The man who transformed his farmhouse into Barbie's Dreamhouse.

- SWNS
Millions of people across the world have dreamt about living in Barbie’s Dreamhouse, but one man in Connecticut made his dream a reality when he converted his old farmhouse into a life-sized version.
31-year-old Jonny Carmack bought the 3-bed farmhouse to get away from New York City during the pandemic, and set about transforming it into his very own pink paradise.
The first time buyer spent $20,000 transforming the aging 1800s property, buying second-hand furniture from estate agents and vintage dealers and by lavishing the place in vivid, 80’s-inspired colours and accessories.
“I remember being young and knowing I wanted to live in a doll house one day,” Carmack said. “When I bought the house I knew I wanted to use it as a landing pad for my creativity, but I was still a bit nervous as I didn’t know how my family and friends would react.”
Not only did Jonny make his dream a reality, he also added a cool $100,000 to the value of the farmhouse, and needn’t have worried about his friends’ reactions after all…
“My friends love it,” he said, “…this summer we watched the Barbie movie here. It was super fun.”
